Ruraq Maki is a nonprofit organization that creates economic opportunities for low income female artisans in Peru and Bolivia working with traditional crafts. Through fair trade practices and educational workshops, Ruraq Maki creates a bridge between artisans and a global market, creating a world where women and artisans are economically and socially independent.
Blueprint Fox worked with Ruraq Maki on two projects. The first project involved working on different aspects of Ruraq Maki’s website, which launched in February 2016. These items included:
The second project was evaluating previous grant submissions, researching funding opportunities, and creating a basic plan for fundraising and framework for grant submissions. The team performed a thorough review of Ruraq Maki’s previous proposals and materials used as supplemental documentation and conducted extensive grant research. The team was able to provide Ruraq Maki with more than eight funding leads, a beginner guide to fundraising, and a framework for future grant and letter of inquiry submissions.
